Brexit removed thousands of ‘.eu’ web domains

Thousands of web domains from U.K. were registered under ‘.eu’ domain. After Brexit, they had to prove eligibility for .eu domain: citizenship or residence in the EU or legal incorporation of organisations within EU. All those who could not prove were removed from ‘.eu’ registry on the 31st of December 2021.
