Reporting initiative from Western Balkans Digital Summit 2019 

The Digital Watch Observatory (DW) – a project by DiploFondation – ran a just-in-time reporting initiative for the 2nd Western Balkan Digital Summit. DW provided coverage of over 70 sessions, addressing various topics such as infrastructure, cybersecurity, privacy and data protection, and the digital economy. The initiative was conducted with support from the UNDP Serbia, in cooperation with the Government of Serbia. Session reports from the meeting are available on the following page.

The conference was organized by the Office of the Prime Minister, the Office for IT and eGovernment, the General Secretariat, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications, along with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. It also received support from the Regional Cooperation Council and successfully brought together more than 3,000 participants, aiming to advance regional digital cooperation.
