Pan African digital rights bodies laud Kenya Government’s decision not to shut down the internet – Paradigm Initiative

With elections set for 9th August 2022, the Kenya government’s decision not to shut down the internet has been lauded by digital rights and inclusion organizations on the continent in a press release. While encouraging all parties in Kenya to uphold the right to internet access, political participation, opinion and expression, right Paradigm Initiative (PIN) and NetRights Coalition encouraged other countries gearing for elections such as Angola and Nigeria to emulate the direction taken by Kenya.
