Morocco’s diplomacy in Africa

Morocco is using a unique blend of cultural, religious, and economic diplomacy in Africa, and continues to highlight South–South cooperation as a means to create sustainable growth and vital food security.

Morocco has also developed its religious diplomacy to expand its sphere of influence and counter rising radical religious discourse. It is additionally using its abundance of strategic diplomatic tools in agriculture and trade for regional development and cooperation, and the creation of a fully self-sustainable continent.
