The board recommended that Meta remove the exception to the company’s privacy rules that allows the sharing of private residential information when it is deemed ‘publicly available.’ The board also suggested that Meta establish a communication channel for doxing victims. Another suggestion is to give users more control over how they consent to the sharing of their private residential information.
