Food Diplomacy

The majority of countries that abstained from suspending Russia from the UN Human Rights Council were African countries. Access to food imports has been a significant factor in the reluctance of African countries not wanting to hurt bilateral ties with both Kyiv and Moscow. Therefore, the EU should take this as a pointer to supporting the achievement of food security in its partnerships on the continent.
