Blog diplomacy

In 2010, a group of Chinese and American bloggers conducted an online diplomatic mission to improve relations between the two countries. The ‘China-US Bloggers’ Summit’ brought together several prominent bloggers from both sides to initiate an open dialogue about the issues dividing the two countries and to develop fresh perspectives on international communication. During the summit, participants discussed a wide range of topics, from economic and political differences to cultural misunderstandings.

The blog summit was a success, as it helped bridge the cultural gaps between China and the USA and helped foster more positive relations between the two countries.
