Rebecca Dudley
Principal Advisor International Humanitarian Law, New Zealand Red Cross
Dr Rebecca Dudley worked with the New Zealand Red Cross as Principal Advisor, International Humanitarian Law, for eight years. Prior to that, she was in charge of human rights training for the Police Service of Northern Ireland as part of the peace process there. She has worked in humanitarian law and policy, human rights, advocacy and transitional justice for many years, including several years at the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission. She holds a BA from Yale University (1983) and an LLM and a PhD in International Law from Queen’s University Belfast.
