Dr Nadia Theuma holds degrees in Anthropology and Tourism Studies. She has been a member of staff at the University of Malta for more than 14 years with teaching, administrative and research experiences at the Department of Management and Department of Tourism Studies, where she is now Head. She has held advisory posts with the Ministries of Tourism and Education, MTA, Heritage Malta, Malta Crafts Council and Ministry for Resources and Competitiveness and Communications. She was a Board Director of Malta Tourism Authority where she was influential in the Ministry developing a cultural tourism policy and participated in the developing of the Brand Identity for Malta. She is also a consultant to Maltese entities and private companies on identity, image and product development.
