Dr Marcel Dickow, PhD, is Head of the International Security division at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) and Coordinator of the International Panel on the Regulation of Autonomous Weapons (iPRAW). He is a physicist by training from the Technical University of Berlin and holds a Master degree in Peace and Security Studies from the University of Hamburg. Since 2009 Dr Dickow has been working on topics such as defence technology, space policy, European defence cooperation, robotics, and cybersecurity. In 2013 he participated in the Seminar on Security Policy of the German Federal Academy on Security.
