With over seventeen (17) years working experience as a police officer. Detective Lawrence Okoth is highly skilled law enforcement professional with expertise in digital forensics and criminal investigations. He is currently serving at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations – Anti Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit, (Cyber Division) where he plays a crucial role in combating Internet Crimes against Children (ICAC). He has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BScIT) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology with certifications on Digital Forensics and Analysis. He is currently persuing a masters degree at National Defence University- Kenya.

Detective Okoth has a proven track record of solving complex cases related to cybercrime and training justice actors and fellow police officers on Digital Evidence management and Cybercrime investigation techniques. His dedication to the field of law enforcement has earned him prestigious Everyday Heroes award (2022), USA and a Presidential, Head of State commendation, highlighting his exceptional skills and commitment to ensuring justice and safety in society.
