Kelvin Nkai is a trade policy and strategic management professional with over ten years of experience in international trade research and market analysis. He currently serves as the Principal Officer in the Export Trade Market Research Department at the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA), where he is responsible for conducting research to support trade policy formulation and export market development.
He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Management and an Advanced Diploma in International Trade from the Institute of Export & International Trade. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Trade Policy and Trade Law from the Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa (TRAPCA), an MBA in Business Administration, and has completed additional training in trade policy and trade law from institutions such as the Trade Law Centre (tralac), Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
His professional interests include trade policy analysis, export market research, and strategic management. His work focuses on developing research-based insights to support trade policy implementation and enhance Kenya’s trade competitiveness.
