Dilay is a 26-year-old diplomat currently posted at the Embassy of Belgium in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, located in Kinshasa. She holds a degree in political science and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on public management from the Université catholique de Louvain, she interned at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the United Nations at New York.

At the Belgian Embassy in Kinshasa, Dilay focuses on development cooperation, particularly in the areas of education, gender equality, youth empowerment, and cultural awareness. Joining the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been a dream come true for her, and she is particularly sensitive to the role of women in diplomacy. Dilay actively encourages and inspires young women to pursue careers in this passionate and fulfilling field.
