Workshops on Internet Governance

25 August 2010 - 02 September 2010

Cook Islands, Fiji

A series of workshops were recently held in Rarotonga, Cook Islands and in
Suva, Fiji. Our work with two regional institutions, the Secretariat of the
Pacific Community (SPC) and the Pacific Islands Chapter of the Internet
Society (PICISOC) was essential in bringing Internet governance and ICT
policy training to officials and professionals.

In Rarotonga, ITU’s workshop on numbering and licensing was the perfect
occasion to include discussions on Internet governance and its diplomatic
processes.
