Training on Internet Governance for the Council of Europe

On 7 December, Diplo held a workshop on Internet Governance for Council of
Europe officials. The focal points of interest included network neutrality
and search engine neutrality. The Wikileaks case was analysed from various
perspectives to get a better understanding of different aspects of Internet
governance. Internet infrastructure and hierarchy, new domains, trademarks,
jurisdiction, media freedom, child protection, social media, and health
literacy were among other topics analysed.

The group will join the efforts on organising the 4th EuroDIG 30-31 May
2011 in Belgrade (https://www.eurodig.org/)
