First workshop on computer applications in diplomacy

In January 1994, the Unit for Computer Applications in Diplomacy at the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies (MEDAC) organised a workshop on Computer Applications in Diplomacy in co-operation with the UN Secretariat and Malta’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The workshop became an annual event and eventually evolved into the Postgraduate Diploma course on IT and Diplomacy.
