The UAE Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) and Diplo have taken their longstanding partnership to a new phase of cooperation with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Building on nearly a decade of fruitful collaboration, this agreement sets the stage for the implementation of educational programmes, particularly those related to the transformative role and practical use of artificial intelligence (AI) in diplomacy and diplomatic training.
The partnership was marked by a dynamic week of activities at AGDA, delivered by Diplo. UAE diplomats and officials participated in a leadership training programme designed to equip them with critical skills for the evolving diplomatic landscape. A thought-provoking public lecture delved into the intersection of AI geopolitics and diplomacy, offering insights into the challenges and opportunities of this rapidly advancing field. Additionally, a master lunch briefing provided an engaging platform to discuss the implications of AI for diplomatic practice.
This MoU reaffirms the commitment of both organisations to innovation and excellence in preparing diplomats for the challenges of the digital era.

The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) and DiploFoundation signed the MoU which builds on 10 years of cooperation between two organisations.
The new MoU provides a framework for the new phase of cooperation, especially on the impact of AI on diplomacy and diplomatic training in particular.
