The Geneva Internet Platform (operated by Diplo) and the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations Office and to other international organisations in Geneva hosted a briefing for Geneva-based Heads of Missions on AI and digital governance issues.
The briefing welcomed ambassadors appointed to Geneva in 2024 and included:
- a zoomed-out view of the Geneva digital governance ecosystem;
- a discussion on AI and diplomacy;
- an overview of the links between World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) processes, the Global Digital Compact (GDC), and their relevance for Geneva.
