The North American School of Internet Governance (NASIG) is an independent organisation that aims to improve the accessibility and distribution of information resources. Nasig is hosting an event to educate a group of students about the procedures, norms, rules, and policies that shape the use of the Internet. The event will take place on 31 October – 1 November 2019 in Montreal, Canada.
Nasig Montreal 2019 is based on the slogan ‘building an inclusive Internet’. The event will focus on four key pillars of Internet governance: economic, political, civil society, and law. The course outline features sessions on: the Internet ecosystem, cybersecurity, Internet equality, connectivity, and more. Featuring 14 presentations from a variety of Internet governance leaders including ICANN, Facebook, and Diplo.
