Joint Australian-Egyptian Missions informal roundtable on information and cyber security issues

Jovan Kurbalija, Director of Diplo Foundation spoke at a Joint Australian-Egyptian Missions Informal Roundtable information and cyber security (Friday, 1 June 2012; from 10.00 to 11.30) at the Egyptian Mission to the UN.

The roundtable was held with the purpose of orienting the New York delegates to the issues of information and cyber security ahead of the first meeting of the newly formed Governmental Group of Experts on Developments in the Feld of Information and Telecommunications Technology in the Context of International Security to be held in New York in the period from 6 to 10 August, 2012. 

The roundtable, which was moderated by Amr Aljowaily Counselor of the Egyptian Mission to the UN and Claire Elias, First Secretary of the Australian Mission,inaugurates a series of meetings for the New York delegates of States participating in the GGE.
