Published in 2000, ‘The Internet Guide for Diplomats’, by Jovan Kurbalija and Stefano Baldi, was the first guide specifically conceived and realised to assist diplomats and others involved in international affairs to use the Internet in their work. It included both basic technical information about the Internet and specific issues related to the use of the Internet in diplomacy.
