DiploFoundation and the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP) will be actively engaged at the 2019 Internet Governance Forum (IGF) which will take place on 25-29 November in Berlin, Germany.
As in previous years, the GIP Digital Watch observatory will provide just-in-time reporting from the IGF. Make sure to follow the GIP’s Twitter account and bookmark the Digital Watch space where the just-in-time reports and Daily newsletters will be announced and published.
If you are attending the IGF, make sure to drop by our DiploFoundation and GIP booth!
The five-day IGF meeting will include a large number of workshops, open forums, dynamic coalition meetings, and other events that will give participants the opportunity to engage in open discussions on multiple Internet governance and digital policy issues. Several main sessions will also be part of the programme, on topics that will be decided by the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG), in consultation with the broader IGF community. The outputs of the IGF 2019 intersessional activities will also be discussed at the meeting. In addition, national and regional IGF initiatives (NRIs) will share experiences and discuss about their specificities, challenges, and plans for the future. For more information, read about the IGF process on our dedicated page and visit the official IGF 2019 website.
