AI is reshaping diplomacy, international relations, and institutional operations at an unprecedented pace. As Ministries of Foreign Affairs (MFAs) and Diplomatic Academies (DAs) work to keep up, integrating AI effectively into diplomatic practice and daily operations remains a challenge.
To support this transition, Diplo’s expert team will deliver a two-day Institutional AI Transformation training at the Polish Diplomatic Academy on 27–28 March 2025, designed exclusively for the Poland MFA.
This highly interactive, exercise-based training, followed by the public lecture aimed at raising awareness on AI geopolitics, will help diplomats and technical staff understand the implications of AI for diplomacy while equipping them with practical tools to navigate this transformation. Through real-world case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will explore:
- AI’s role in diplomatic negotiations, speech drafting, and decision-making
- Practical applications of AI in institutional operations and risk management
- Effective AI adoption strategies and best practices from other organisations
Training structure
Day 1: Separate sessions for technical staff (AI systems integration, privacy, security) and diplomats (Gen AI tools, prompt techniques, critical thinking).
Day 2: A joint session covering AI readiness, transformation strategies, and fostering ownership of AI-driven change.
