Earlier this month, Jovan Kurbalija and Vladimir Radunovic delivered a presentation on e-diplomacy at the ‘Excellence in Diplomacy – Young Leadership Diplomatic Seminar’ in Belgrade, Serbia.
The seminar, organised by the Serbian Diplomatic Academy and held on 16 December 2010, was attended by junior diplomats from South East Europe.
The focus of the presentation was the impact of ICT and the Internet on the junior diplomats’ careers. The presenters argued that in ten years’ time, participants will spend at least half of their working time dealing with diplomatic issues related to the Internet, including privacy, data protection and cyber-security.
