Geneva Internet Platform: Successful start and future developments

After the first year of activities, the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP) has become one of the reference points in global digital policy. A growing demand for information, knowledge and dialogue on global digital policy issues is reflected in the numerous events and briefings the GIP organised in 2015.

The event ‘Geneva Internet Platform: one year of operations and outlook’, on 20 March, will gather initial partners from the formation stage of the GIP and new partners who are interested in economic, policy, security, social and development aspects of digital developments.

Delegates will be able to learn about forthcoming activities in 2015 and ways how delegates and their institutions can benefit from the activities of GIP, including policy briefings, training activities, and other events. The focus will be on the unique strength of the GIP in addressing digital policy issues in a transversal way including technological, legal, security, economic and development perspectives.

The event will take place on Friday, 20th March, 2015, 09.45 to 11.15 am, at Bernerhof, Bundesgasse 3, 3003 Bern.
