Artificial intelligence (AI) is at the tip of everyone’s tongue these days. International Geneva is not unfamiliar with this phenomenon: According to the UN Activities on AI (UNACT) 2022 report, all 15 Geneva-based UN entities have conducted research, hosted conferences, or engaged in working groups to examine the impact of AI on their own activities.
The Geneva AI Community initiative aims to bring together people who are actively leveraging AI as a technology. From using AI tools in daily tasks to developing AI-based applications, organisation staff will have increasing encounters with AI; we foresee these encounters to lead to an AI transition in how organisations do things internally and provide innovative, technology-assisted solutions to fulfil their mandates. Read our analyses of a 3-pathway organisational transition here. The initiative is dedicated to taking stock of such AI-induced organisational transitions and discussing the more practical aspects of adopting AI technologies.
DiploFoundation welcomes AI practitioners and developers or innovation technology leads working within International Geneva, be it from international organisations or non-governmental organisations alike, to join us in the Geneva AI Community and jointly discuss the challenges and best practices to counter them during the AI organisational transitions.
