E-Diplomacy at Montenegro Summer School for Young Diplomats

30 June 2013 -

Kolasin, Montenegro

"E-Diplomacy: Between Tradition and Innovations" session was delivered by DiploFoundation lecturers within the 6th Montenegro Summer School for Young Diplomats “Gavro Vukovic”

A two-hours session on e-diplomacy was organised within the 6th Montenegro Summer School for Young Diplomats “Gavro Vukovic”, gathering some 50 young representatives of MFA services of over 30 countries. An innovative delivery concept was introduced, combining the remote video interventions by Jovan Kurbalija, and in-situ lecture by Vladimir Radunovic. The session mapped the three key aspects of e-diplomacy: Internet as a driver for a changing environment for diplomatic activities (multistakeholder environment), Internet as a topic on the diplomatic agenda (Internet governance), and Internet as a tool for delivery of diplomatic activities (e-tools).
