Participants from Nigeria, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Libya, Fiji, Malawi, Mexico, South Africa, Hungary, Dominica, and Palestine met to learn about the theory and practice of diplomacy. From 30 January to 8 February, Diplo and the University of Malta hosted an introductory workshop for the Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Contemporary Diplomacy in Malta. Workshop sessions were delivered by experienced practitioners and covered a wide range of topics including negotiations, diplomatic protocol, language, consular crises, e-diplomacy and public diplomacy.Â
