Negotiations between the EU and USA on a post-Safe Habour agreements have been taken a step forward with the newly announced ‘EU-US privacy shield’. The Indian telecom regulatory authority has blocked Free Basics, while encryption debates continued to unfold this month in the USA and UK. Which other updates took place in February, and how will they shape future developments? What can we expect?
