AI for Media Professionals: Briefing at the Montenegrin Public Service Broadcaster

Diplo Executive Director Jovan Kurbalija held an interactive master briefing on AI at the public service broadcaster Radio-Television Montenegro. During the session, Kurbalija highlighted three critical functions of public service media in the AI era:

  1. Increasing public awareness and understanding: Educating the public about AI through engaging radio and TV programmes.
  2. Preserving cultural heritage: Using AI to preserve cultural heritage as a global good.
  3. Utilising AI tools: Integrating AI tools into daily work, from journalism to broadcasting.
