Alumni Training and workshops Digital diplomacy EventsGovernment officials from Serbia and Montenegro attended e-diplomacy and e-governance seminars in Belgrade and Podgorica. The seminars, organized by the Vienna Diplomatic Academy, covered topics like the impact of the Internet on diplomacy and preparations for the European Dialogue on Internet Governance. Discussing issues like privacy, data protection, and Montenegro's EU accession, the seminars aimed to enhance officials' understanding of e-diplomacy and e-governance.
Training on Internet Governance for the Council of Europe
Training and workshops Internet governance and digital policy, Interdisciplinary approaches EventsDiplo hosted a workshop on Internet Governance for Council of Europe officials, focusing on network neutrality, search engine neutrality, and analyzing the Wikileaks case. Topics also included internet infrastructure, trademarks, media freedom, child protection, and more. This group will participate in organizing the 4th Euro event in Belgrade on 30-31 May 2011.

Masters Graduation 2010 – University of Malta
Alumni Courses Contemporary diplomacy EventsNineteen students graduated with a Master in Contemporary Diplomacy from the University of Malta in 2010. A special ceremony was held at the old Jesuits Church, Aula Magna, in Valletta. Among the graduates were students from various countries, who celebrated with a reception at the Cavalieri Hotel.
*Le Bicorne et la Plume* book presentation
Webinars EventsIn Bern, Switzerland, on November 18th, 2010, the book "Le Bicorne et la Plume" was presented to Ambassador Georges Martin, showcasing Swiss diplomats as writers. Ambassador Jacques Rial and Dr Jovan Kurbalija presented the book, highlighting the contributions of Swiss diplomats to cultural heritage. The book is part of Diplo's Diplomats as Writers series, following a similar study on Italian diplomats, and includes an extensive bibliography. Workshop on Internet Governance
Alumni Training and workshops Internet governance and digital policy, Interdisciplinary approaches EventsA workshop on Internet Governance was held on 12-13 November in collaboration with the Caribbean Telecommunications Union. Over 20 participants from various sectors engaged in discussions led by guest speakers focusing on Caribbean policy, regional challenges, and the v4-v6 transition. Public Diplomacy: Language and Persuasion Workshop
Training and workshops Language (and) diplomacy, Persuasion, Public Diplomacy EventsDr. Biljana Scott conducted a workshop on Public Diplomacy: Language and Persuasion at the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation, attended by 50 diplomats and officials. The focus was on language skills crucial for public diplomacy. Discussions are ongoing between the South African diplomatic service and DiploFoundation about training in public diplomacy and e-diplomacy.

International Forum on Diplomatic Training
Panels and conferences EventsOver 80 participants from 52 countries convened in Malta for the 38th Meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academies at the International Forum on Diplomatic Training. Established in 1972, this Forum serves as a platform for Deans and Directors to engage in discussions regarding modern diplomacy and trends in diplomatic education. The event was organized by DiploFoundation, Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Malta.
