Training and workshops Diplomatic protocol and etiquette EventsA workshop on Diplomatic Protocol and Etiquette was led by Diplo Lecturer Olaph Terribile and Mary Murphy for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova. The four-day session covered topics such as Order of Precedence, cultural differences, proper handling of business cards, table settings, press conferences, state visits, and diplomatic communication. The interactive workshop included role-playing and in-depth discussions, focusing on best practices applicable to Moldova. Diplo was engaged to design and conduct the workshop.

Panel on Fraud and other abuse of Emblems (Red Cross/Red Crescent) on the Internet

The event aims to raise awareness among members and governments about the misuse of emblems and provide solutions. The discussion will take place on November 30th in Geneva, Switzerland.

It focuses on improving diplomatic communication skills through practical tasks like writing, public speaking, and media interviews. The workshop was commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova and was well-received by participants ranging from junior attach to director-level. This is the first of three workshops Diplo will conduct in Moldova.

Ten Years of Cybercrime Convention in Geneva

The convention, signed in Budapest in 2001 and enforced in 2004, targets internet crimes like copyright infringement, fraud, child pornography, and network security breaches. It aims to establish a common criminal policy against cybercrime through legislation and international collaboration, involving experts from multiple countries. An Additional Protocol criminalizes racist and xenophobic internet propaganda.
