Training and workshops Capacity development CoursesDiploFoundation will conduct a training on digital governance in New York funded by the UK and German Foreign Offices, co-hosted by the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Technology. The program aims to enhance understanding of digital governance for diplomats negotiating global digital agreements. Topics include internet infrastructure, human rights online, digital inclusion, and artificial intelligence. Preference will be given to diplomats from smaller and developing nations.

Aimed to enhance understanding of digital governance and aid in negotiating digital agreements, 52 diplomats, prioritizing those from smaller nations, participated.

Malta emphasized the importance of cyber diplomacy for smaller nations and highlighted the collaboration and friendship between Malta and Rwanda. DiploFoundation, specializing in internet governance and digital policy, conducted the training, aiming to enhance Rwanda's skills in digital geopolitics, negotiations on cybersecurity and e-commerce, and the utilization of digital tools in diplomacy.
