Cybersecurity training programme for Uzbekistan

“Towards the national cybersecurity framework in Uzbekistan: building a multistakeholder platform”, a three-days training programme in cybersecurity, will be delivered by DiploFoundation, with support of the Office of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan.

The programme will consist of a half-day session for higher level officials of the government of Uzbekistan, followed by a two-days training event for cybersecurity specialists from different key ministries, agencies, committees and representatives from the industry. The programme aims at enhancing the awareness of stakeholders in Uzbekistan about key security challenges of the digital era, and possible policy and political responses, raise the awareness of officials of Uzbekistan on the importance of developing a strategic national approach to and competences for cybersecurity and enhancing international cooperation, and enable an informal multistakeholder working group – following similar successful projects in other countries – to map key national challenges and prepare options for policy responses.
