The Open Mobile Association (OMA) is a non-profit organisation that works on the development of open specifications for creating interoperable mobile services. Its membership include mobile operators, device and network suppliers, information technology companies, and content providers.

OMA aims to deliver high quality, open technical specifications that are based upon market requirements and that provide interoperability across different services, geographies, service providers, operators, and networks. The organisation collaborates with othet standards organisations and industry fora (such as the GSM Association, the Interney Egineering Task Force, and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute) to improve interoperability and operational costs for all involved.

Work undertaken in the OMA framework contributes to the development of next generation mobile services in areas such as device management, the Internet of Things, application programming interfaces, etc.
