The Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) was established in 1962 under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is a respected institution dedicated to training and developing future South Korean diplomats.

KNDA's core mission is to train future diplomats to represent South Korea internationally effectively. It also aims to enhance the capabilities of existing diplomats through mid-career training programs and research international relations issues relevant to South Korea's foreign policy.

KNDA offers a two-year program designed for aspiring diplomats. It provides a comprehensive foundation in international relations, foreign policy, diplomacy theory and practice, negotiation skills, and other essential areas. Additionally, KNDA offers specialized programs for diplomats already in service to develop their expertise in specific areas like international security, economics, or regional affairs.
