The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) is one of the five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs), the organisations that manage the allocation of Internet number resources - Internet protocol (IP) addresses and autonomous system (AS) numbers - within a particular region of the world.

ARIN distributes Internet numbers to the Local Internet Registries (LIRs), providers and Internet users in America and manages the regional Whois service and routing information. The organisation also provides technical services to the Internet community, such as cryptographic authentication, DNSSEC, and RPKI. ARIN coordinates the development of policies related to the regional management of Internet Protocol number resources, and it published related policy documents. Additionally, the organisation also provides education and technical trainings in its area of competence.
