Diplo is an international non-profit organisation that has significantly contributed to advancing diplomacy by incorporating information and communication technology (ICT) into its practices. Our origins trace back to 1992 when a project aimed at enhancing diplomatic practices with ICT tools was launched at the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies in Malta. By November 2002, this initiative matured into an independent organisation established through the collaboration of the governments of Malta and Switzerland.
