The course offered an opportunity to understand the impact of globalization in diplomacy and in facilitating greater use of information and communication technology and better access to information by the public, who want to have a say in diplomacy. I particularly liked the area of Public Diplomacy and the importance of understanding the sources, influence and contribution of the public in diplomacy, and calls for the consideration of their views in making policies and decisions in diplomacy.
