Call for Assistance with Translation
In addition to a climate change diplomacy online course, Diplo is engaged in enhancing the awareness of climate change in a wide audience. At the time of the Copenhagen Climate Summit (2009), Diplo developed an illustration to make the complexities of climate change more tangible. After feedback from Diplo alumni and others working in the area of climate change, it was further refined. Readers can find the current version of the Climate Change Building illustration at Diplo's Climate Change Community. Presently, we are proud to have Mongolian and Indonesian (Bahasa) translations available, thanks to our colleagues, Amanda Katili-Niode from the Climate Project Indonesia, and Tsengel Nergui from the Mongolian Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism. Diplo aims at increasing the audience of the climate illustration by having it available in other languages. However, much remains to be done. If you are interested in providing a translation of the Climate Change Building illustration, please contact us at climate@diplomacy.edu. All versions of the illustration are and will be available under a creative commons license, which means that you can use them freely for non-commercial activity as long as the source is acknowledged. If you utilise the illustration it would be nice to hear how and for what purpose you used it.
