Swiss Plateforme Tripartite: Meeting on WSIS+20

07 May 2025

On 6 May, the Swiss Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) will host a virtual meeting on the WSIS+20 process for members of Plateforme Tripartite. The aim is to inform members about the WSIS+20 review, present Switzerland’s position, and discuss why and how stakeholders can participate.

Sorina Teleanu, Diplo’s Director of Knoweldge, will participate in the meeting and brief participants on the overall WSIS process, its history, and its relevance in the current global digital governance landscape.

The Plateforme Tripartite is a national information hub and multistakeholder platform for exchanging information on topics related to internet and digital governance and artificial intelligence (AI). The platform, which currently has around 300 members, is open to all interested persons and institutions in Switzerland. It was founded in 2003 as part of the preparation for the first World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) to coordinate Swiss positions with the administration, business, and civil society.

Registration for the event is open.
