In 2014, Diplo launched the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP), a vital initiative designed to facilitate neutral and inclusive dialogues on digital policy. The GIP serves as a hub for debate, monitoring, and analysis, providing ongoing capacity development.

The Geneva Internet Platform’s Digital Watch observatory is a comprehensive Internet governance and digital policy resource. It provides updates, developments, overviews, events, resources, and information on over 40 Internet governance and digital policy issues and processes.

At the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2019 in Berlin, Diplo launched the humAInism project to address the need for AI regulation. The project aims to align artificial intelligence with human values by examining its mechanisms and assessing AI technologies’ policy and ethical implications

Aims to strengthen civil society organizations (CSOs) advocating for multilateral Internet governance (IG) processes. Focusing on inclusive participation from the Global South, it emphasizes a human-centred approach to digital policies. CADE is co-funded by the European Union

The annual Geneva Engage Awards recognize outstanding digital outreach by Geneva-based organizations, evaluating social media engagement, website relevance and accessibility, and innovative events across categories for international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and permanent representations.

The DiploFoundation’s African Digital Diplomacy and Governance project empowers small and developing African states to engage in global governance. By focusing on digital diplomacy and internet governance, Diplo enhances Africa’s worldwide influence and promotes meaningful participation in international policy development.

The Geneva Dialogue on Responsible Behaviour in Cyberspace, launched in 2018, seeks to clarify the roles of non-state stakeholders—such as the private sector, civil society, and academia—in enhancing cybersecurity. It is led by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and implemented by DiploFoundation

Technology and science hubs, supported by tech companies and top universities, are crucial for innovation. Many governments recognize their importance and establish permanent representation in these regions. DiploFoundation highlights the Bay Area and Boston as key centres and offers guidance for government presence there.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Diplo launched the ConfTech initiative aimed at facilitating the shift of countries and organisations from traditional onsite events to online and hybrid formats.
