After its promotion in November last year in Beijing, the Chinese translation of ‘An Introduction to Internet Governance’ is now available online for free download.
The book is globally recognised as a leading publication on digital governance that provides a comprehensive overview of the main issues and actors in the field. The book has been translated into 10 languages and adapted as a textbook for academic courses worldwide.
The Chinese e-version is now available thanks to the exclusive rights from the publisher – Tsinghua University Press, the publishing house of one of the world’s highest ranking academic institutions.
The book promotion of the Chinese translation gathered leading Chinese tech and academic experts at Tsinghua University in November 2018. Many speakers highlighted the relevance of the book translation for the development of Chinese terminology for Internet governance and digital policies in, among others, e-commerce, digital finance, human rights, culture, and cybersecurity.
