Our June WebDebate will focus on questions surrounding bilateral diplomacy. It is not difficult to observe increased scepticism towards multilateral institutions and a growing tendency towards isolationism. This is why we should turn the focus again towards bilateral diplomacy.
Are we witnessing a rising bilateralism? What is the task of bilateral diplomacy in a changing world in which key challenges such as climate change, refugees, and disarmament remain global in scope? How can we prepare the next generation of diplomats to be effective in bilateral diplomacy and address these challenges?
In this WebDebate, Professor Emeritus Ambassador Kishan S Rana will join us and share his insights from 35 years of experience in the Indian Foreign Service and his multifaceted reflections on diplomacy.
Join us on Tuesday, 6 June, at 11:00 UTC (13:00 CEST). Registrations for this event are now closed.
