The Internet affects society in all its dimensions. Due to its pervasive influence on society, the Internet has affected the object of scientific research in virtually all academic disciplines. At the same time, information technologies have become increasingly embedded in scholarly research methods.
DiploFoundation, the Geneva Internet Platform, Amsterdam University College, and the Network Institute will host a four-day Internet Research Fair about the impact of the Internet on academic research and society, from 29 February to 3 March at the Amsterdam University College, Amsterdam Science Park.
The Internet Research Fair aims to facilitate discussion between students and researchers about the opportunities and challenges arising from the Internet’s presence in academia and society.
