Mirjana Petrović-Filipović

Ms Mirjana Petrović-Filipović completed her studies in Russian language and literature at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade in 1999. She received her doctorate at the same faculty in 2017 at the Department of General Literature and Literary Theory.

Mirjana was an assistant trainee at the Department of Slavic Studies at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, a part-time associate at the same department, and a long-term researcher and translator of Russian literature. She has published a large number of translations from and into Russian, essays, and scientific works. She has also collaborated with many Serbian and Russian literary magazines, participated in academic conferences, and collaborated with literary festivals in Serbia and abroad.

Mirjana is the editor-in-chief of the cultural and artistic association Kombinat, which promotes culture, literature, art and new education methods. She is also a member of the Association of Literary Translators of Serbia.
