Javier Ruiz is a Senior Advisor on Digital Rights at Consumers International, covering a broad range of policy and advocacy areas, including data governance and digital trade. Javier is the former Policy Director of the UK-based Open Rights Group, where he worked on online copyright, state surveillance, transparency, privacy and ethics. He is a civil society representative at the UK Government’s Forum on Intellectual Property.
