Diplo among Top 100 NGOs

DiploFoundation has been selected among the top 100 NGOs which include the Wikimedia Foundation, Médecins Sans Frontières, and Amnesty International. Global Journal‘s selection was based on criteria such as impact, innovation, and sustainability.
The Top 100 NGO award is an acknowledgement of Diplo’s ongoing work in fostering more effective and inclusive diplomacy. Diplo’s role has been particularly important in assisting countries to participate in global Internet governance negotiations, and in introducing e-tools for diplomatic services. In the field of e-learning, Diplo delivers state-of-the-art courses in humanitarian diplomacy, health diplomacy, and 15 other disciplines of relevance for global affairs. Diplo’s corpus alumni consists of more than 2500 officials and academics from 189 UN member states.
A living organisation constantly evolving with the times, Diplo’s new activities include new training programmes for e-participation and social media in diplomacy, exploring the use of data-mining for global policy, and research on the importance of diplomacy and compromise.
