The Royal Government of Cambodia, in its commitment to advancing the nation's role and influence in regional affairs, established the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation through a Sub-Decree on December 26, 2016. A key component of this establishment was the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations. This institute, with its primary objective of providing professional training for Cambodian diplomats, has been instrumental in equipping our diplomats with the skills and knowledge to effectively tackle diplomatic challenges and further enhance Cambodia's role and influence in regional affairs.

The National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations has the following responsibilities:

  1. Organize training programs and research related to foreign affairs and international cooperation
  2. Organize foreign language training.
  3. Conduct research and disseminate foreign policy and international cooperation.
