The Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute (DTRI) is part of Georgia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was established in 2011 as a division of the Ministry's HR Department. The institute's main objective is to enhance the professional development of diplomatic service staff and civil servants from other government agencies to support the implementation of Georgia's foreign policy strategy.

The institute provides various training programs, including inclusive peace processes, negotiations, gender perspective, international security, and critical aspects of Georgia's relations with neighbouring countries. It has also introduced a Young Diplomats' Program.

In 2018, the institute added a new research and analytical component to its existing functions. Its mission and vision are to become a centre of excellence for professional education and capacity building for MFA staff, public officials from other state institutions in Georgia, and diplomatic corps representatives accredited to Georgia.
